Our New Home
The Delray Beach Housing Authority is building our new, permanent home at 82 Northwest 5th Avenue, Delray Beach, Florida 33444. The new building, to be named the West Settlers Service Center, will house the DBHA Administrative Offices once completed.
In designing the West Settlers Service Center, careful attention has been paid to making its appearance consistent with historic character of the West Settlers Historic District. The Delray Beach Housing Authority believes that the West Settlers Service Center will contribute to the return of the 5th Avenue Corridor to its vibrant state, and increase the economic vitality of the West Atlantic Commercial Corridor.

Development of Island Cove – An Affordable Housing Community Located between SW 8th Street and SW 10th Street (north and south respectively) & SW 12th Ave and SW 13th Ave (east and west respectively)
We represent the Delray Beach Housing Authority and Island Cove, LLC. These two entities partnered to bring a high, quality affordable housing development project to your neighborhood called “Island Cove”.
When public hearings are required for the development of a property, the City of Delray Beach’s (“City”) Land Development Regulations Section 2.4.2 requires the City to notify neighboring property owners. The City must send notices by regular mail to property owners that are located within a five hundred (500) foot radius of the boundary lines of the subject property.
The Delray Village Square Project encompasses a total site area of approximately 18 acres of vacant land in proximity to a stable residential neighborhood and some commercial development within the southwest corridor of Delray Beach. The general boundaries are SW 7th Street to the north, SW 10th Street to the south, Delray Beach Cemetery to the east and NW 13th Avenue/Auburn Avenue to the west.
The development received an Approval from the City of Delray Beach to construct 253 units consisting of Elderly Housing, Multi-Family Housing and Single Family Market Rate units on the entire 18 acre site.
